Supertek Color Camera Module
This Supertek 2-megapixel resolution USB2.0 color camera module is based on the OV2659 VGA CMOS image sensor from OmniVision. The sensor has a 1/5Inch optical format, which combined with the pixel size of 1.75 µm x 1.75 µm, results in the 2 Megapixel 1600H x 1200V VGA image. This is a rolling shutter sensor, which captures an entire column (or row) simultaneously, and compiles the image by scanning across (or down). Fixed Focus with wide view angle of 60 degrees and no distortion. High sensitivity, superior low-light performance. The sensor supports for HD video recording at 30 frames per second, excellent sensitivity and high-quality image capture while meeting the cost, size, and performance requirements of the high-volume camera phone market. It is a Plug-and-Play camera (UVC compliant) for Windows, Linux, Android, and Wince with UVC and Mac OSX.
A high-performance system on a chip (SOC) sensor, the OV2659 delivers high-definition (HD) video and excellent low-light sensitivity for cost-sensitive applications. It also features all standard image quality controls such as color saturation, hue, gamma, sharpness (edge enhancement), lens correction, defective pixel canceling and noise canceling.
