Varifocal camera introduction
What is Varifocal Camera
What is a varifocal lens?
Before understanding a varifocal camera, it is important to first understand a varifocal lens, which is a camera lens with an adjustable focal length, where the picture changes with the focal length. This works because there is autofocus and the camera processor can automatically adjust the lens to maintain focus while changing the focal length (“zooming”), making the operation virtually indistinguishable from a parfocal zoom.
How USB varifocal Cameras Work
A USB varifocal lens camera is a camera with a zoom lens that uses a lens focal length that can be adjusted to change so that we can change the lens focal length to get different visual and shooting effects. You can adjust the zoom so that you can focus on objects that are near or far. Once you place the camera in the correct position outside the house, you can adjust it so that it occupies a large enough area but also see a detailed image. Some zoom lenses automatically change their focal length to respond to images in motion and in the field of view.
When to use USB varifocal camera
1. Unsure of the scene to Film
Due to the installation location, it may be difficult to capture the perspective and scene you need with a camera installed in a certain place. However, a varifocal lens camera is different in that you can adjust the distance of the lens to capture the desired field of view. For example, if your camera is mounted far away from the person you are shooting, a fixed lens may not be able to capture a clear picture or close-up. But if you install a zoom lens camera, you can change the varifocal camera to ensure that your field of view to capture the picture you want.
2. Multiple shooting focal lengths
If you need to shoot scenes with different focal lengths, or when you need to change the focus on near or distant objects at any time, then you can choose a varifocal camera you. For example, a varifocal lens camera installed in front of the company can cover a large area, but also focus on a corridor to shoot.
3. High image quality
When you adjust the zoom lens, you can adjust the shooting width and depth of field to suit your needs. This allows you to monitor specific areas of interest in the scene. You can also adjust the focal length of the lens to make close up viewing possible, or you can zoom in to capture a wider frame while maintaining your image quality
